Mangesh is Network Hardware Resale (NHR)’s Asia Pacific Technical Manager, responsible for the NHR Regional Technical Support, Managed Services and Presales Operations across Asia Pacific. With 10 years of experience in network planning, design and trouble-shooting including migration of old legacy network infrastructure to latest industry standard network infrastructure, Mangesh is passionate about helping customers to optimize efficiency and savings from their network infrastructure and operations using smart alternatives. Mangesh is a Bachelor of Engineering graduate of Visvesvaraya Technological University, India.

Santanu Dasgupta
Senior Consulting Engineer, Cisco Systems
Santanu Dasgupta is working as a Senior Consulting Engineer at Cisco Systems. He has 15 years of experience building large-scale IP NGN networks for Service Providers, Federal, Defence, and NREN customers. At Cisco, he works for the Global Service Provider team focusing on IP NGN Architectures where he is responsible for consulting customers and internal teams on solutions, architecture and technology direction in the Service Provider IP NGN and transport area. Santanu’s area of expertise includes IP Routing, MPLS, Carrier Ethernet, Video contribution & distribution, SDN etc. He is a regular speaker in many internet & telecom forums such as SANOG and APRICOT. Additionally, he chairs the Program Committee of SANOG and is member of the Program Committee of APRICOT & APNIC.
Santanu holds a Bachelor of Engineering (1st class honors) degree from Jadavpur University, India and has a few leading & industry accredited certifications such as CCIE under his belt.

Eric Choi
Senior Manager, Service Provider & High End Business Unit, Asia Pacific & Japan, Brocade
Eric Choi is the Head of Product Management for Service Provider Product Unit in Asia Pacific: Brocade, specializing in designing and architecting service provider IP Core, Metro Ethernet and Data Centre Network, with more than 15 years of industry experience in networking and mobile technologies. In addition, Eric works with customers and partners in, Application Intelligence VPN network, and IPv6 transition network. Prior to joining Brocade, Eric held various technical leadership positions for 9 years at Juniper Network, is a Juniper Network Certified Interworking Expert #110.

Anna Mulingbayan
Senior Internet Resource Analyst, APNIC
Anna Mulingbayan is APNIC’s Senior Internet Resource Analyst and Liaison Officer for the South East Asia region. Since 2001, Anna has played a key role in evaluating and analyzing network plans from members and the community.
Anna represents APNIC’s Resource Services department at internal and external meetings, both regionally and globally. She also performs occasional work with the training team to conduct training within the Asia Pacific region.
Anna also undertakes liaison work, using her knowledge of South East Asia to network with existing members, seek liaison opportunities with potential members, and actively participate at Liaison events within this region.

Jason Kalai Arasu
Regional Network Consultant, ASEAN, Extreme Networks
Jason Kalai Arasu is a Regional Network Consultant responsible for ASEAN at Extreme Networks. His primary responsibility is to provide support and consulting service to Extreme Networks ASEAN customer mainly in Service Provider, Data Center and Enterprise. His current interest lies in designing service provider, software defined network and cloud based data center with the use case of using OpenStack/Openflow technologies.

Prior to joining Extreme Network, he was Network Planning Manager at SingTel managing International Transit, Corporate Network and Data Center service. His primary role includes planning, designing and streamline new services within the organisation. Besides that, capacity planning and scaling of IP network also part of the role and responsibility where he was helping international transit team to expand the network range by establishing network peering policies across global footprint.

Besides his regular role as consultant, he also as serve as program committee of SGNOG and OpenStack Singapore and Indonesia chapter. He also hold industry accredited certification such JNCIE-SP #1045.

Ya Jian Huang
Systems Engineering Manager APAC, Arista Networks
YJ Huang is leading Arista systems engineering team in APAC, providing cloud data center networking solution to customers. He has 12 years of experience in the networking industry. Prior to joining Arista in 2010, YJ worked for Telco Systems as technical director APJ, focusing on Metro-Ethernet solution.
A resident of Singapore, YJ holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computing engineering from the National University of Singapore

Kams Yeung
Senior Network Architect, Akamai Technologies

Kams Yeung is a Senior Network Architect at Akamai Technologies, the world’s largest CDN. Kams has responsibilities primarily covering peering, routed interconnections and capacity planning. Kams is a 16-year veteran of the Internet industry and an international network engineering, operations and data center professional. He has served as an infrastructure team member during APRICOT-APAN 2011. Before Akamai, Kams was Product Manager at Equinix, and Senior Manager, IP Engineering at Pacnet. He’s a regular supporter of APRICOT, APNIC, APF, and other industry community gatherings.

Viboon Korjaranjit
Senior Manager Business Development, Adva Optical

Viboon Korjaranjit joined ADVA Optical Networking Singapore in 2008 as a Senior Manager Business Development. He has over 20 years of experience in optical networking technology in which he worked as a consultant to many service providers in Asia Pacific. He assisted in choosing, planing and designing optical transport networks to meet their diverse needs.

Willy Sutrisno
Head of Provisioning: Matrix Cable System

Willy currently heads the provisioning department of Matrix Cable System (MCS). He was involved in the construction of MCS from the ground up as well as setting up the Cable Landing Stations and POPs in Singapore, Jakarta and Batam. He has a secondary role as the peering coordinator for ASN55818 (MCIX), has brought the company network to Tier 1 of Indonesia by expanding the peering locations

Philip Smith
Learning and Development Director, APNIC

Philip Smith has been working in the Internet industry since the early 90s. He recently joined APNIC, the Asia Pacific Network Information Center, as Director of Learning and Development. Prior to joining APNIC, he spend over thirteen years at Cisco Systems, in the Internet Architectures Group of the company’s CTO organization.
