SGNOG is an educational and operational forum for the discussion and sharing of technical information related to backbone/enterprise networking technologies and operational practices.

Participants typically include engineering staff from Service Providers as well as other organizations that have an interest in knowing more about networking technologies. SGNOG is non-profit and organization-neutral.

SGNOG is not a legal entity, there is no formal membership.  The meetings are informal, and are run by volunteers from the community. Our first conference-format meeting was held on 20 July 2011 at NUSS Guild House@Suntec.

Besides the meeting, we maintain a mailing list for the community to co-operate and discuss on operational issues and general network development.
