SGNOG x Nokia Workshop – Trainers

This year, we will be having experienced trainers from Nokia for the upcoming 2-day “Building Next-Gen DC Fabrics with Containerlab” workshop from 13 Oct – 14 Oct 2025. Let us get to know a little about the trainers.

Bastien Claeys (Nokia)

Bastien Claeys is an experienced network engineer with strong background in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) for telco data centers.

He developed his expertise in network design while working in Belgium and now serves as a Regional Product Manager at Nokia in Australia, specializing in data center solutions. A technology enthusiast, Bastien is committed to advancing the future of networking through open standards, automation, and innovation.

Thomas Corre (Nokia)

Thomas Corre is a regional Product Line Manager and Consulting Engineer at Nokia, with over 15 years of experience in IP Routing architecture engineering and presales.

Throughout his career, he has focused on supporting Service Providers in Europe and Southeast Asia, gaining extensive knowledge in Cloud computing, IP Routing technologies, and 5G Anyhaul.

As a regular speaker at NOG events in the South-East Asia region and at Telecom SudParis for “Advanced Network Architecture” Master’s specialization, Thomas brings strong experience in delivering customer workshops, technical training, and translating complex networking needs into effective solutions.

SGNOG x NOKIA Workshop

In conjunction with SGNOG12, we are happy to announce that we will be holding a workshop together with Nokia this October.

SGNOG x Nokia Workshop: Building Next-Gen DC Fabrics with Containerlab

Explore how to use Containerlab to build and simulate a Data Center fabric topology. Participants will deploy an underlay IPv6 addressing scheme and work with key technologies like EVPN and VXLAN to enable scalable, efficient interconnection. By the end, participants will understand how to leverage Containerlab for building robust, next-gen network infrastructure.
